I love good marketing. Any idiot can hold strong to “sex sells”, or create their own deviation of the “got milk” campaign. Those who do it right know how to pull you in, get your attention, and keep it.
2K games launched an Alternate reality game (Think 4th wall theatre) that will end at the release of Bioshock 2 (…never thought I would NEED an Xbox). Something in the sea launched in March of 2009 and, through a series of puzzles and patience, has unraveled the story of a man searching for his daughter and “Rapture”.

Here’s the latest gem from her stock pile. I’m gonna blow off the dust, check the bellows for leaks, and throw in a roll of 120. I’ll post the results as soon as I have them.

My friend Nikki and I decided to try and collaborate on something. Well, He’s in Austria and I’m in the wretched, wretched desert of Phoenix. That make things a little difficult. He came up with the idea of interpretation. I’d interpret a piece of his work, and he would do the same with one of mine. He chose my drunk bunny and put together an awesome painting. I, on the other hand, haven’t started. Damnit.

You can find more of Nikki’s art at his amateurillustrator gallery. Check it out now! He was just part of the “Young Art Global 2007″ exhibition in Vienna. If you get to know his work now, then later you can say “I knew about him before he lived on the moon with robots and hookers.”
